Clear terms for the software and the service.

The ony.ai software is open source under AGPL-3.0. The hosted service adds managed infrastructure on top of it. These plain-language terms cover both, and are written to be read, not skimmed past.

The two things covered here

The software is the open-source ony.ai project. Your rights to use, modify, and redistribute it are governed by its license, theGNU AGPL-3.0, not by this page. When you self-host, that license is the agreement.

The hosted service is ony.ai Cloud, the managed offering. The terms below apply when you use it. The hosted service is pre-release and currently invite and waitlist based.

Acceptable use

Use the hosted service lawfully and as intended. In particular, do not:

  • Use it to place calls or messages to people who have not consented to be reached, or in any way that violates telecommunications or anti-spam law.
  • Attempt to break tenant isolation, access another organization's data, or circumvent the security controls the product is built on.
  • Resell or sublicense the hosted service without a separate written agreement.
  • Use it to build or operate anything that harms people or infrastructure.

You are responsible for the agents you connect and the actions you approve. ony.ai relays a decision request and delivers your signed answer; the decision, and its consequences, are yours.

Your account and your data

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and second factor secure. You own your data. What the service stores, and what it deliberately does not, is described in theprivacy policy. You can export or delete your organization's data as described there; deletion is irreversible.

Third-party providers

The service reaches you through providers you or we configure (telephony, model, email, identity). Their availability and their own terms are outside our control. We pass only what each provider needs, as described in the privacy policy.

Availability, warranty, and liability

The hosted service is pre-release. It is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and without a service-level guarantee unless one is agreed in a separate written contract. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ony.ai and PyPV are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the outcome of any action you approve through the service. Because ony.ai fails closed by design, an unreachable service denies or defers rather than silently approving; you should still treat the service as best-effort and keep your own safeguards for critical actions.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the hosted service develops; we will date any revision here and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. You may stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend an account that violates the acceptable-use terms or puts the service or other customers at risk.
